WELCOME PHOESTIVUS VENDORS

Welcome to #Phoestivus2020

Every Sunday #Phoestivus2020 will open at 9am on our @Phoestivus Instagram and Facebook pages. #Phoestivus2020 is a fast paced, jam-packed virtual event.

How to get the most out of #Phoestivus2020

Check out the schedule and see the day and time we’ll post the image you submitted to us. To get the most out of the event, you should get ready to also be posting onto your own Instagram account. Remember, you should post your products and promote you! I understand not everyone may be around to post all day from 9 - 3, so I would encourage you to at least post on your account when I post on my account and tag you. That's why I shared an exact schedule.

When we tag you on @Phoestivus, people from our following will click through to your account to see what you have to offer. So if you're posting on your page during the virtual event, especially at the same time we post your image, it can gain bigger traction for you (aka sales).

Essentially the goal is to concentrate our activity on Instagram to lead to your sales. I want you to post about you and your product! Just include the hashtag #Phoestivus2020 so people scrolling through the hashtag activity will see your products too.

We’re encouraging everyone to follow along and refresh their feed to find new products and shop for the holidays live during the Sunday event. Be ready to comment, engage, answer direct messages and sell!

Profile Image

Select a photos for the Phoestivus directory (on phoestivus.com) that can help returning customers easily identify you and your business, but will also introduce new customers to what products they can find. Example: While there are many good options for this, we love how Paige Poppe Art is showing the range of her products and includes herself, the colors reflect her brand and product well.

@Phoestivus Image

Select photos for the @Phoestivus Instagram feed that highlight a few products so customers can see multiple products. Be sure they are items you have available for purchase. Example: Think about creating a display of items just like you would at any in-person market. We love how Little Fang Silver chose a closer view to see the detail and craftsmanship of her jewelry in an irresistible display that screams desert vibes!

Image Ideas.png

All month we're promoting #Phoestivus2020! However, we'll be spending Sundays to concentrate our energy on your products! On Sundays, especially when we post your image, you should share new pictures on your page and stories that customers can shop in real-time. Our goal is to get shoppers to click directly over to your profile from our post!

Wondering what kind of posts to share?

1. Gift idea. Put together a few of your items that could be sent as the perfect gift. Think of those sweet spots your customers spend and include the total price for the gift in your descriptions.

2. Grid your product. Allows people to easily tell you which product they want to buy. Tell them exactly how they can purchase the products they're seeing.

3. Natural. People love seeing products in natural settings and how they can be used in a home, worn, etc. Customers also love being highlighted, repost and thank someone who's tagged your product.

4. Set up a booth display. Use live feed or videos to scan your display, say hi, and encourage people to buy what they see in real time.

5. Share You. Don't forget to mix in photos of yourself and why you do what you do!

4 Tips for Selling on Social Media

While there are some important differences between selling in-person and online, there are some similarities in how you should approach things.

1. Build, don’t push.

Focus on building relationships, not pushing your products or services on people. It’s good to spend time nurturing relationships and growing engagement, whether that’s through sharing content besides your product replying to comments on Facebook.

2. Know your customers.

There are so many questions that can help you understand your buyers. Who’s your target audience? Do they prefer to consume video content or written content? Which photos or content in the past has done the best for you?

3. clearly communicate.

You’re driving potential customers to your profile, so make sure it’s at its best. To make traffic convert into leads or sales, be sure it’s clear to customers how to shop your product, whether that’s though your web store or just by direct messaging you, when and how they’ll receive their product and more. Consider including pricing in the caption to avoid unnecessary DMs.

4. Listen to your customers.

Whether you’re selling on social media or through your website, your reputation depends on how you treat your customers. Monitor your comments, answer questions and complaints promptly.
